Design Science attends NAB Show's Post Production World Conference

It documents our studies, drives our analysis, and forms a crucial part of our deliverables. For our videographers, staying on the cutting edge of industry trends keeps our footage off the cutting room floor.
To make sure that they have access to the tools and ideas of their trade, our videography team recently attended the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show’s Post Production World Conference in Las Vegas. As a training event for video professionals, the conference is focused on production and post-production technologies, trends, and workflows.
The conference offered a variety of seminars, ranging from general sessions to hands-on training opportunities for attendees to explore specific software platforms. The courses most essential to Design Science’s work included boot camp classes on Premiere Pro, After Effects and other programs in the Creative Suite. Our team also attended courses for video-file compression, branding, file organization, and project management tools.
Not only did our videographers have a chance to explore the latest trends in their field, they also got to engage with their peers and take in some of the Vegas sights. After spending quite a few hours learning all things video in cold, dark rooms, they got some well-deserved time to enjoy the Vegas Strip, the Hoover Dam, and Valley of Fire State Park between sessions.
